Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, a prominent Shariah-based financial institution operating in Bangladesh, has formalised a corporate partnership with Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital (DCIMCH). The strategic alliance was established through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), as confirmed in a recent official press statement released by the bank.
Scope of the Agreement
Under the terms of the newly ratified accord, a wide range of individuals associated with Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC will become eligible for dedicated financial concessions on healthcare provisions. This arrangement entitles the bank’s directors, officers, employees, and all registered cardholders—including those utilising Equal Monthly Instalment (EMI) payment facilities—to receive special discount benefits across various medical services offered at the hospital. Crucially, these healthcare advantages are also extended to the dependent family members of the specified bank personnel and account holders.
Beyond patient discounts, the bilateral agreement introduces a corporate collaboration in financial operations. Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC is slated to leverage its expansive nationwide network to facilitate institutional collection services on behalf of Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital, streamlining hospital revenue processing through its domestic branches.
