Agrani Bank Hosts Managers’ Conference in Chittagong

A Managers’ Conference was held in Chittagong on Saturday, bringing together the regional and branch heads of Agrani Bank’s Chittagong Circle. The conference was attended by Md Anwarul Islam, the Managing Director of Agrani Bank, who graced the event as the chief guest.

During the programme, the bank successfully recovered a total of Tk 14.58 crore from defaulted and classified loans.

The Managing Director expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the Chittagong Circle and issued instructions on reducing expected credit losses, disbursing CMSME loans, increasing deposits, and boosting remittance collection. He also praised the ongoing implementation of Agrani Bank’s 100-day special action plan and emphasised the importance of continuing efforts to recover classified loans.

The conference was further honoured by the presence of Deputy Managing Directors Tahmina Akhtar and Md Abul Bashar as special guests.

The meeting was chaired by the General Manager of Chittagong Circle, Mostaq Ahmed, and saw the participation of regional heads, branch managers, and customers from various branches.
