UnionBank Launches 0% Installment Plans for IKEA Shoppers

Union Bank of the Philippines (UBP) has announced an exciting new collaboration with global home furnishing giant IKEA, offering its credit card customers access to highly flexible 0% instalment payment plans through the bank’s PayEasy facility. The initiative forms part of UnionBank’s continued commitment to expanding customer-centric financial solutions, making premium shopping experiences far more accessible and stress-free.

Under the newly introduced scheme, UnionBank credit card holders who make a minimum in-store purchase of PHP10,000 at IKEA can convert their transaction into a three-month instalment plan at 0% interest. For larger purchases of PHP20,000 or more, customers may opt for a six-month 0% instalment plan, allowing households to spread out the cost of furniture, homeware, and lifestyle upgrades without incurring additional fees.

The promotional period spans from 26 September to 22 November 2025, covering peak household shopping months when many families refresh their homes ahead of the holiday season. UnionBank noted that IKEA purchases made within this window, and subsequently converted into instalments, will automatically qualify cardholders for a grand raffle draw.

Grand Prize: PHP300,000 IKEA Gift Card

As part of the promotion, UnionBank is raffling off a spectacular PHP300,000 IKEA gift card—a prize large enough to furnish an entire flat, fully redecorate a home, or indulge in extensive Scandinavian-style home improvements.

Customers earn raffle entries based on the size of their instalment:

• Every PHP10,000 converted to instalments earns one raffle entry

• Every PHP20,000 instalment earns three entries

This structure ensures that customers making larger purchases enjoy greater chances of winning the coveted prize, whilst still benefiting from interest-free repayment options.
