Standard Chartered Launches Ramadan Privileges

Standard Chartered has announced a comprehensive suite of Ramadan and Eid privileges aimed at enhancing customers’ festive spending across dining, retail, travel and home improvement. The campaign, unveiled through a media statement, seeks to blend savings with convenience, allowing cardholders and digital banking users to maximise value during one of the busiest consumer seasons of the year.

Dining and Hospitality

For the first time, customers can benefit from an “Eat 5, Pay 1” arrangement at selected five-star hotels, notably Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka and Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan. The initiative is designed to encourage group iftar and sehri gatherings, traditionally popular during Ramadan.

In addition, diners may receive discounts of up to 30 per cent at participating restaurants. Selected premium local hotels are also offering buy-one-get-one (B1G1) buffet promotions, broadening the range of options for customers seeking celebratory meals with family and colleagues.

Groceries and Iftar Bazaars

To ease household expenditure during the fasting month, the bank has partnered with Unimart to provide cashback on essential grocery purchases. Cardholders can further access exclusive offers at prominent iftar venues such as Lahore by IKitchen and Khazana.

For customers preferring home delivery, discounts are available via Foodpanda, offering voucher-based savings on takeaway and iftar meals ordered through the platform.

Fashion, Jewellery and Grooming

Reflecting heightened pre-Eid retail demand, the bank is providing discounts of up to 50 per cent at leading fashion houses, jewellery retailers and beauty salons. A notable highlight is a 10 per cent cashback at Yellow, subject to terms and conditions. These incentives are structured to encourage both in-store and digital transactions.

Home Improvement Financing

Customers planning seasonal home upgrades may avail themselves of 0 per cent equated monthly instalment (EMI) facilities for up to 36 months on furniture and appliance purchases. The extended tenure is intended to reduce upfront financial strain while enabling interior enhancements ahead of Eid celebrations.

Travel and Holiday Savings

In the travel segment, the bank has collaborated with ShareTrip and Gozayaan to provide up to 70 per cent savings on domestic hotel bookings, up to 16 per cent off international airfares, and up to 14 per cent off domestic flights.
