Dhaka Bank PLC has entered into a significant Corporate Health Agreement with Ascent Health Limited, formalised on 30 March 2026 at the bank’s Head Office in Dhaka. The partnership aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and wellness services for both employees and cardholders of Dhaka Bank.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Emerging Market Officer of Dhaka Bank PLC, and Dr. Anwarul Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Health Limited. The signing ceremony brought together senior leaders from both organisations, emphasising their shared commitment to advancing corporate health initiatives.
From Ascent Group, the event was attended by Amer Ahmed, Director, and Ronald Micky, FCPA, FCMA (UK), Chief Operating Officer, while Dhaka Bank PLC’s delegation included H.M. Mostafizur Rahaman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Retail Business Division, M. Rezaur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Human Resources Division, and Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Executive Vice President and Head of the Cash Management Unit. Other senior officials from both entities were also present, highlighting the strategic importance of the collaboration.
Under the agreement, all Dhaka Bank PLC cardholders and employees are entitled to up to 30% discount on pathological tests. Convenient sample collection services are available either from home or at the doctor’s chamber through Ascent Health Limited, ensuring flexibility and ease of access.
The partnership also grants access to consultations with expert doctors across a range of specialties, including internal medicine, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, nephrology, neurology, gynaecology, and paediatrics. A dedicated contact officer will oversee smooth service delivery, complemented by standard call centre support for all beneficiaries.
