Midland Bank Hosts ‘Leaders Meet’ Programme

Midland Bank PLC organised a “Leaders Meet” programme with all Branch Managers on Saturday, 11 April 2026, at the MDB Training Institute, according to a media release issued by the bank.

The initiative was designed to strengthen collaboration, promote open dialogue, and address key operational and business challenges across the bank’s nationwide network. The programme brought together senior leadership and branch heads to exchange insights and align strategies aimed at enhancing performance and service delivery.

Imtiaz U Ahmed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, actively engaged with the Branch Managers. During the interactive session, he listened to their operational challenges and discussed practical strategies to improve business performance, customer service, and overall efficiency. His address underscored the importance of coordinated efforts in sustaining growth and maintaining competitive standards within the banking sector.

The event was also attended by Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer, and Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer. Members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and Selective Heads of Divisions were present, reflecting the institution’s emphasis on inclusive leadership and strategic alignment.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the bank, attended the programme and delivered a motivational address.
