Agrani Bank recently held the Rajshahi Circle Managers’ Conference to evaluate the progress of its 2025 business plan. The key focus areas of the conference included enhancing core deposit collection, expanding CMSME loan disbursement, and improving remittance mobilisation. The conference brought together regional heads and branch managers from various districts, including Rajshahi, Bogura, Sirajganj, Natore, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, and Joypurhat.
The event was held at the Nice Convention Centre in Rajshahi, with Md Anwarul Islam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agrani Bank PLC, attending as the chief guest. The conference also featured the presence of Deputy Managing Director Md Abul Bashar as the guest of honour, while Sudhir Ranjan Bishwas, General Manager of the Rajshahi Circle, presided over the session. A.K.M. Shamim Reza, General Manager of the Recovery & NPA Management Division, also attended as a special guest.
During his speech, CEO Md Anwarul Islam emphasised several strategic priorities for the bank’s future success. He highlighted the importance of:

- Expanding the bank’s import and export operations
He also urged the bank’s officials to maintain a strong focus on customer service and uphold the institution’s reputation in the market to further solidify Agrani Bank’s position as a leading financial institution in Bangladesh.
