Bank Asia Reports 71% Rise in Q3 2025 Profit.

Bank Asia PLC has reported a net profit of Tk 351 crore for the first nine months of 2025, up 71% from Tk 205 crore in the same period in 2024.

The bank disclosed the earnings to shareholders through an online-based Q3 2025 Earnings Disclosure session held on Wednesday at Bank Asia Tower, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.

Managing Director Sohail RK Hussain, Additional Managing Directors ANM Mahfuz and Nurullah Chaudhury, Deputy Managing Directors, and the Chief Financial Officer attended the session.

According to the bank, investment income nearly doubled to Tk 1,930 crore, significantly boosting operating profit.

As of September 2025, the bank’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 2.58, compared to Tk 1.44 a year earlier, while its net asset value (NAV) per share reached Tk 29.28, marking a 21% year-on-year increase.

During the July–September quarter, Bank Asia posted a net profit of approximately Tk 39.90 crore.

The bank also reported a notable increase in operating cash flow, primarily driven by substantial growth in customer deposits.
