On the last working day of the week, trading is ongoing in the country’s currency market. The value of the US dollar has risen slightly after falling for several consecutive days earlier this week.
According to Bangladesh Bank, today the dollar’s highest rate is BDT 122.06 and the lowest is BDT 121.99, with an average rate of BDT 122.03. The dollar has experienced fluctuations from July through October.
The currency market is showing mixed trends today. The Australian dollar and Singapore dollar have declined, while the euro, pound, and yuan have increased in value. The Indian rupee and Japanese yen remain unchanged.
In the open market, foreign currencies are traded at slightly higher rates than those published by the central bank. Fluctuations in exchange rates also impact the cost of business and trade in the country.
