IFIC Bank Customers & Staff Set to Receive Exclusive Discounts at Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital

IFIC Bank PLC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan Bangladesh Friendship Medical Services Limited to offer exclusive healthcare benefits to its customers, employees, and their family members. This partnership, announced in a press release, was formalised on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, at a ceremony held at the IFIC Tower in Purana Paltan, Dhaka.

As per the agreement, IFIC Bank customers, employees, and their dependents will be able to access a wide range of advanced medical services at Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital at special discounted rates.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Helal Ahmed, Head of Operations at IFIC Bank PLC, and Mr. Sarder A. Razzak, Director of Finance & HR at Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital. The event was attended by senior officials from both organisations. Among the IFIC Bank representatives were Mr. Md. Monitur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Information Officer; Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Branch Business; and Mr. K.A.R.M. Mostofa Kamal, Deputy Managing Director & Chief of HR & Logistics.

Representing Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital were Mr. Murad Hossain Khan, Executive Director; Mr. Shohidul Alam Ripon, General Manager; Mr. Md. Masud Khan, Deputy General Manager; along with other senior officials from both organisations.

This partnership is expected to enhance the access to affordable healthcare for both bank clients and staff, providing them with the opportunity to avail high-quality medical services at a discounted price. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the relationship between IFIC Bank and Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital, benefiting a large segment of the community.
