IFIC Bank has inaugurated a new automated teller machine (ATM) booth at Monipuripara in Dhaka, aimed at facilitating quicker and more convenient banking transactions for its customers.
According to a media release, the booth was formally inaugurated on Saturday, 2 May 2026. The opening ceremony was led by Kazi Md. Mahboob Kasem, FCA, Independent Director of IFIC Bank. Senior management of the bank was also present at the event, including the Managing Director, Syed Mansur Mustafa, and the Chief of Branch Business & Head of Operations, Helal Ahmed.
A number of other IFIC Bank officials, invited guests, and customers attended the inauguration ceremony, reflecting institutional and public engagement with the newly launched facility.
The introduction of the ATM booth forms part of IFIC Bank’s ongoing expansion of its self-service banking infrastructure. Through this facility, customers are expected to gain access to a variety of standard ATM services without the need to visit a branch counter. These services include cash withdrawal, fund transfer between IFIC Bank accounts as well as to accounts held with other banks, balance enquiries, and mini statement generation.
In addition, the booth will support card-related services such as card activation and PIN change facilities, alongside other ATM-enabled banking functions that enhance day-to-day transactional convenience for account holders.
The inauguration highlights the bank’s continued efforts to extend accessible banking touchpoints within urban locations, particularly in areas with significant customer demand for automated financial services.
