Recently, Jamuna Bank PLC organised a financial literacy programme for students at the Shreemangal Government Girls’ High School in Moulvibazar, as part of its ongoing initiative to promote financial education. The event was held in the school’s auditorium and aimed to raise awareness among young students about the importance of financial management.
The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Md. Abdus Sobhan, Executive Vice President and Head of the Banking Operations Division at Jamuna Bank. In his address to the students, he emphasised the significance of personal financial management from an early age, stating, “The foundation of personal finance management in student life is key to achieving inevitable success in the future.”
The event also featured special guests, including Mr. Shamsul Alam Chowdhury, Regional Head of Jamuna Bank’s Sylhet region and Branch Manager of the Sylhet branch, and Mr. Md. Kamal Uddin, the Headmaster of Shreemangal Government Girls’ High School.
The programme was chaired by Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Branch Manager of Jamuna Bank’s Shreemangal branch. The event was also attended by teachers from the school.
