Mercantile Bank and Esquire Electronics Sign Cash Management Agreement

Mercantile Bank PLC has signed a cash management agreement with Esquire Electronics Limited at the bank’s head office on Thursday.

Arifur Rahman, managing director of Esquire Electronics, and Md Zahid Hossain, deputy managing director (DMD) and chief business officer (CBO) of Mercantile Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in the presence of the bank’s managing director, Mati Ul Hasan, who attended as the chief guest.

Under this agreement, Mercantile Bank will provide comprehensive cash management services to Esquire Electronics and its customers through the bank’s branches, sub-branches, agent outlets, mobile banking app Rainbow, and mobile financial service MyCash.

All Esquire Electronics outlets across the country will be able to access these services conveniently.

Among those present from Mercantile Bank were DMDs Zakir Hossain and Ashim Kumar Saha; head of corporate banking Mohammad Faruque Ahmmed; head of corporate liability and cash management KM Anowarul Islam; head of retail banking Ashim Kumar Saha; head of agent and mobile banking Darpan Kanti Roy; and Al Mansur, manager of the Tejgaon Gulshan Link Road branch.

Representing Esquire Electronics were Abdullah-Al-Rashed, general manager (finance and accounts), and Syed Rabiul Islam, senior manager (business development and showroom operations), along with other senior officials from both organisations.
