Midland Bank PLC has entered into a strategic partnership with Marco Polo Dhaka Hotel, formalising the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 15 December 2025. The signing ceremony took place at the Head Office of Midland Bank in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
Representing Midland Bank, Mr. Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), signed the agreement, while Mr. Md. Asraf Uddin, Operations Manager of Marco Polo Dhaka Hotel, signed on behalf of the hotel. The MoU aims to provide Midland Bank customers with a range of exclusive benefits across accommodation, dining, and wellness services at the hotel.
Through this partnership, all Midland Bank cardholders—including debit, credit, and prepaid card users—will receive substantial discounts across multiple hotel services. Specifically, cardholders will enjoy: a 50% reduction on published room rates, a 15% discount at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Polo Amber, and its café, Marco Street, a 30% discount on bookings for the Sapphire banquet hall, and 15% off Polo Spa treatments.
The MoU signing event also featured key representatives from both organisations. Md. Rashadul Anwar, Head of PRD at Midland Bank, and Ms. Marufa Nur Maria, Assistant Manager of Sales & Marketing at Marco Polo Dhaka Hotel, attended alongside other senior officials, highlighting the mutual commitment to enhancing customer experience through innovative collaboration.
