Pubali Bank PLC recently conducted a virtual workshop on Cybersecurity Awareness, aimed at strengthening knowledge and practices among its staff.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mohammad Ali, managing director and chief executive officer of Pubali Bank, who also outlined the bank’s security roadmap during his keynote speech, according to a press release.
Several deputy managing directors, including Mohammad Esha, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Ahmed Enayet Manzur, and Mohammad Anisuzzaman, participated in the event, emphasising the bank’s commitment to cybersecurity.
The session featured presentations by Md Helal Uddin, general manager of the ICT operations division, and Mohammad Arif Ferdous, senior principal officer of the same division, who discussed basic security awareness, best practices, and other key cybersecurity topics relevant to banking operations.
The workshop is part of Pubali Bank’s ongoing initiatives to enhance digital security and protect customers, staff, and institutional data from emerging cyber threats.
