Southeast Bank PLC has officially relocated its Motijheel Branch (Islamic Banking) to a more spacious and upgraded premises in Purana Paltan, Dhaka. The move is designed to ensure the delivery of enhanced, modern customer services and state-of-the-art financial solutions.
The newly relocated branch formally commenced its commercial operations on Sunday, 7 June 2026. It is now situated on the first floor of DR Tower, located at 65/2/2, Box Culvert Road, Purana Paltan, Motijheel, Dhaka-1000.
Inauguration Ceremony and Dignitaries
M.A. Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, inaugurated the new premises as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was attended by a distinguished gathering of the bank’s leadership, prominent business figures, valued clients, and local dignitaries.
The bank’s Board of Directors was well represented, with Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engr. Khandker Badrul Hassan, and Md. Rafiqul Islam (Nominee of Asia Insurance PLC) in attendance.
Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Southeast Bank PLC, participated as the Special Guest. Additional Managing Directors Abidur Rahman Chowdhury and Md. Mahbub Alam were also present at the venue. The event was presided over by Mahmudul Hasan, the Head of the Branch.
