Standard Bank Holds 419th Board Meeting

The 419th board meeting of Shariah-based Standard Bank PLC was held on 30 October at the bank’s boardroom in its Dhaka head office.

The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mohammed Abdul Aziz.

Also in attendance were Vice Chairman AKM Abdul Alim; Director and Founder Vice Chairman Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury; Directors Ashok Kumar Saha, SAM Hossain, Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Md Zahedul Hoque, Ashit Kumar Saha, and Jhahedul Alam; as well as Independent Directors Golam Hafiz Ahmed and Khondoker Rumy Ehsanul Huq.

From the bank’s management team, Managing Director Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman, Company Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman, and Chief Financial Officer Mohammad Salah Uddin were also present at the meeting.
