Standard Bank PLC Holds 419th Board Meeting

The 419th board meeting of the Shariah-based Standard Bank PLC was held on 30 October at the bank’s boardroom in its head office, Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by Mohammed Abdul Aziz, chairman of the board of directors.

Among those present were vice-chairman AKM Abdul Alim; director and founder vice-chairman Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury; directors Ashok Kumar Saha, SAM Hossain, Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Md Zahedul Hoque, Ashit Kumar Saha, and Jhahedul Alam; along with independent directors Golam Hafiz Ahmed and Khondoker Rumy Ehsanul Huq.

Also in attendance were Md Habibur Rahman, managing director; Md Siddiqur Rahman, deputy managing director; Md Mizanur Rahman, company secretary; and Mohammad Salah Uddin, chief financial officer of the bank.
