How to Find a Routing Number
Routing numbers were first developed in the American Bankers Association (ABA) to simplify the movement of checkbooks on a huge scale. If you don’t have a checking account however, you can locate your routing numbers by looking on your bank’s site or calling the branch nearest to you. The routing number is different for each the bank and in each region. Since one bank could possess multiple routing numbers ensure you are routing is linked to the bank at which you first opened your account.
