Meghna Bank PLC has inaugurated a Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) bill collection booth at Satmasjid Road in the Dhanmondi area of the capital, with the objective of making utility bill payments more accessible, convenient and time-efficient for customers.
According to a press release, the newly established booth was formally inaugurated by Momtazul Karim N Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director of Meghna Bank PLC, alongside Md. Tariqul Hoque, Chief Engineer (NOCS North). The initiative is intended to strengthen customer service facilities by enabling easier settlement of electricity bills under the DPDC network.
DPDC, one of the principal electricity distribution entities in Dhaka, is responsible for supplying electricity to a large segment of the city’s consumers. The establishment of dedicated bill collection facilities at accessible points is part of broader service arrangements aimed at improving customer experience and reducing congestion at traditional payment centres.
